Iran-Kuwait Parliamentary Ties Discussed

KUWAIT CITY Speaker of Kuwait's National Assembly Jassem Mohammad al-Kharafi and the Head of Iran-Kuwait parliamentary friendship group Jalal Mousavi here on Sunday discussed bilateral relations in various fields.
At the meeting, the two sides reviewed latest developments in bilateral relations. Mousavi also handed over a invitation to the speaker of Kuwait's National Assembly from Majlis Speaker Mahdi Karrubi to visit Iran.
Following the meeting, Mousavi told IRNA that the two sides emphasized cooperation between the two parliaments on regional and international issues, including Palestine, and called for further transparency in bilateral ties.
Mousavi described relations between Iran and Kuwait as very good and said, "The ties are expanding and getting stronger every day and the officials of the two countries have strong determination in this respect." (IRNA)
